BOO! appeared in 1995 in the arms of trendy, self-assured women. Today designer Tony Van Gulck is exactly ten years older, and BOO! is still just as young and fresh as ever. Like those women.
BOO! originated on the drawing table of Tony Van Gulck, who had previously spent eight years at the head of the Laurent David conference table. Long enough to accumulate considerable baggage and acquire a vision on how best to pack your baggage and take it with you. Wearable handbag fashion at bearable prices was and is the essence of all BOO! collections. The idea wasn't the only thing that was new. Take for example the materials: lacquer, pvc pearl, nylon microfibre and coated leather. Durable enough for everyday use, but far from everyday.
